If you’re reading this, you already know Catalyst Ranch is the place to go for groups who want to connect with each other. Teams come in for meetings, and our environment and abundant amenities make getting to know each other a snap!

And with testimonials proclaiming how wonderful our own team is, we know you’d be tickled to get to know some of our stellar humans!

Over several years, Lyndon Stewart has worn many hats. Having recently added the duties of Manager of Human Resources to his role as Office Manager, he plays a very large part in keeping our team and business running smoothly.

While his wizard-like contributions to Catalyst Ranch are vast, they largely happen away from client view, behind-the-scenes. We hereby encourage you to “Please DO pay attention to the man behind the curtain!” He’s our Father of Squirrels, our very own Lyndon!

What’s the explanation behind your self-given title, Father of Squirrels?

Because we all do funny signatures, and I like Squirrels and Game of Thrones, haha!

How long have you been in the Catalyst Ranch family?

6 Years

What do you love about this place?

It’s a fun atmosphere to work in. Very laid back most of the time.

What’s your favorite artifact/artwork/furniture on the Ranch?

I’m not sure. We have a lot of throne-like chairs that are fun to sit in.

You’ve filled other positions with CR prior to your current office. What wisdom from those past roles do you find serves you most in your current job?

Previously, I’ve been on or overseen both the Operations and Administrative teams. Working directly with people and learning good customer service helps in the office because people need to be engaged with tactfully whether it’s in person or over email, not to mention it never hurts to know the ins and outs of our daily Operations.

What’s your favorite part about your role as HR Manager?

When people like my fun e-mails.

Yes, your communications definitely perk up team morale! You often add images or gifs from anime. Do you have a favorite anime you’d recommend?

I love anime and a great one is Full Metal Alchemist.

What’s your favorite part about the Office Manager position?

Getting to work on my own schedule and being accountable mostly to myself.

What’s your star sign? Do you fit your sign archetype?

I’m a Virgo/Libra cusp and I fit them pretty well. I don’t follow it for anything but myself.

What do you love about Chicago?

I love that I was born here and it’s a beautiful city in the Summer.

What do you not love about this city?

The never ending Winter.

Thank you for refraining from a Game of Thrones reference with that one. You have remarkable restraint. Now, let’s play a game! Of the following sets, you may choose only ONE. Aaand GO!

Scary, Sporty, Baby, Posh, or Ginger? Baby.

Ghost, Kitty, Robot, or Muffin? Robot.

Tattoo or piercing? Tattoo.

Android or iPhone? Android.

Vega or Zangief? Vega.

There you have it, folks. Just a little peek into what makes our wondrous Lyndon Stewart tick!
